Being a native of NYC, I was a little skeptical, at first, of a place in Vermont that would call itself Manhattan Pizza. After being there a few times with friends for drinks, I decided to go back and try the food. The menu is pretty standard for a place that has "Pizza" in their name, with a few "specialty Items".
Having lived in the southwest, I developed a taste for hot food, so I ordered the Cajun Chicken Philly Cheesesteak. While I waited the bartender served me a beer and turned up the volume on the Simpsons. She was obviosly a fan too.
The sandwhich was ready pretty quickly and served up hot. The only thing that made the sandwhich "Cajun" was some mix of pre-made cajun seasoning and seasoned salt on an otherwise pretty good Chicken Philly Cheesesteak.
I'll try again, but I'll stick with something that doesn't try to be southern. Afterall, they don't have a drawl in Manhattan.
