Food was very average. I've been to a ton of better ameri-mexican joints like this, although they did have some more authentic dishes on the menu; my Pollo Jalepeno was spicy although a little over cooked. If you eat here, get something outside of the normal burrito/fajita/etc mold, because the cliche dishes are strictly standard at Roque's.
Service was pretty good. Prices were above average. Ambiance was good, but nothing to write home about.

What's the fuss about
I have been here 3 times. (time 2 & 3 not my call) Each time I tried something diferent. Sad to say I don't know what all the fuss is about. The first time I went was for lunch on Saturday. The only menu we were given was the DINNER menu. At 12:15?! (I spotted the LUNCH menu on the way out). Waht was up with that? The nachos were a hugh platter of chips with all the cheese melted in one lump, so I guess the other 90% of chips were a waste. I found the food nothing memorable. Salsa just ok.sorry Burlington still needs a great mexican restaurant.
